Auris helps companies understand and control their cloud spend. You will lead our FinOps assessments and engagements, from the first bill review to the habits that keep costs down.
What you'll do
- Run cloud cost assessments on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud: where the money goes, and what to change.
- Set up tagging, cost allocation, budgets and reporting that finance and engineering both trust.
- Recommend rightsizing, scheduling and commitment purchases (Savings Plans, reserved instances), and track the results.
- Set Auris Launchpad startups up with FinOps from day one, so their credit goes further.
- Write the playbooks and articles that make our FinOps practice repeatable.
What you bring
- Five or more years in cloud engineering, cloud finance or FinOps.
- Deep familiarity with AWS billing (Cost Explorer, CUR, Savings Plans); Azure or GCP a plus.
- Confident with spreadsheets and SQL, and able to tell a clear story from cost data.
- Comfortable presenting to CFOs and engineering leads.
Nice to have
- FinOps Certified Practitioner or an AWS certification.
- Experience with Kubernetes cost allocation.
- Background in a cloud reseller or managed service provider.
